Coast works with experienced third-party delivery companies to provide a complete delivery service 6 days a week (in most regions) to customers throughout Canada. These professionally trained delivery personnel will do their best to ensure your new purchase is delivered with absolute care. Most deliveries occur between 8am – 5pm, Monday – Saturday. While we are unable to promise specific times, your store or delivery company will contact you with an approximate 4 hour window, and drivers will also call the day of delivery.
Haul-away and recycling of your old appliances can be arranged as well. Please mention that you require this service to your salesperson at the time of purchase, and they will arrange it with the delivery company. Please check with your local branch for haul-away rates in your area.
To ensure a smooth delivery, here’s a final checklist to help you prepare:
Make Sure Site is Ready for Delivery
Are there any road/ delivery restrictions? Is your driveway complete? Are all the stairs complete and safe? Are all paths clear of snow or ice, mud, rocks and other material or construction equipment? Is there sufficient parking for our delivery trucks?
Our delivery companies attempt to deliver with the highest level of care, however due to safety and liability issues they will not provide any extra floor protection. If you require extra floor protection inside your home, consider providing carpet runners or other materials such as taped-down cardboard. Avoid materials such as drop cloths or plastic sheets as they can actually be a greater slip or trip hazard.
If Fridge Doors Need to be Removed
If door removal is necessary to get the unit into your home or into its designated area within the home, a door removal fee will be charged. Please check with your local branch for fees.
Double Check All Contact Information on the Invoice
Please double check and confirm all delivery and contact information. If we deliver to an incorrect address, cannot contact you at the time of delivery, or if the delivery can not be made or is delayed for any reason, additional charges may apply for wait times or additional deliveries.
Only Disconnected / Uninstalled Appliances Can Be Removed
Please be aware that delivery drivers can do haul-away, but they do not uninstall, hook up or install appliances. You can arrange with your salesperson to have a professional installer provide these other services for you. The haul-away fee must be paid at time of invoicing.
Before Signing for Your Appliances
Before you sign the invoice, it’s very important that you confirm everything was received in good order, or you will not be able to claim any further damages. Make sure to inspect all appliances as well as your house for damage.
